International committee
Mission
The International Committee of the Center for the Person exists to foster a global network of engaged individuals who actively support the Center’s mission. The Committee champions the Person-Centered Approach, honors the Center’s historical legacy, and co-creates initiatives that are inclusive, culturally sensitive, and locally meaningful.
This Committee is a space for collaboration, dialogue, and shared creation, where members act as facilitators, connectors, and ambassadors of the Center’s values. Together, we aim to strengthen the presence and impact of the Person-Centered Approaches worldwide, building a renewed, globally connected, and inclusive community.
Guiding Principles
Every member contributes from their own perspective and experience while listening deeply to others. The Committee embodies the principles of respect, empathy, and unconditional positive regard, reflecting the philosophy of Carl Rogers.
Diversity of geography, culture, language, and professional background is embraced, as it enriches our shared work and ensures relevance in local contexts.
Members act as connectors, linking people, ideas, and opportunities across regions to create meaningful relationships, mutual support and collaborative networks.
