CARLA GERSTEIN

I am delighted in joining Antonio Santos and Will Stillwell in their current endeavors to bring more PCA to the world, as their business and marketing manager for the PCP Academy. I have held a California Teaching Credential, and have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from UCSB, 1985. I spent 13 years in the software development industry, then I acquired my teaching credential in 1999 after having my 2 daughters. In San Diego in 2002, I co-founded the Rainbow Kids Integral Preschool, and in 2006 the Integral Elementary School, both alternative schools, based on the holistic and student-centered Integral Education philosophy. In 2013 I joined CSP member Jacqueline Hicks and we started Education Transformations, a project of CSP that dedicated itself to bringing the Person-Centered Approach to children’s education and teachers. I also worked with CSP a number of years helping produce the Annual Carl Rogers conferences in San Diego. I am currently enjoying living in San Diego with my love and my family.
