Patient, person-centered, and positive describes Kelly’s approach to teaching and learning. Kelly’s career in education involves re-envisioning how to integrate PCA in secondary and post-secondary institutions. Unconditional positive regard is essential in Kelly’s roles mentoring future teachers during their university practicum and teaching high school students in their early college experience. As Kelly pursues a holistic study of social, emotional, and academic Educational Leadership at Sacred Heart University, she advocates for personal development opportunities that are inclusive and accessible to all adolescents and new professionals. Kelly’s virtual coordination of the 2020 Carl Rogers Conference brought her feelings of joy and gratitude for the PCA community.
